We will gladly give you an estimate of cost before fixing your device. This estimate is free of charge if you confirm to repair the device.

It is most convenient for you and us when you define a cost limit beforehand. If the limit is exceeded we will give you an estimate of cost. Otherwise we will repair the device promptly and will charge the incurred cost only.

The cost limit has an important advantage: we are able to repair your device immediately without reassembling it, consigning it, sending you the estimate of costs and waiting for your answer – this saves time and money!

If you reject the estimate of costs we have to charge you a part of the incurred costs – depending on the effort at least 41,65€ (incl. tax) plus shipping.

If necessary, we can properly dispose of the faulty device.

Is it worth the cost to fix my device?

Since we are a repair service center only, we do not have an overview of current prices and devices.

Especially for older devices it is hard to decide if the cost is proportional to the benefit of a repair.

There are many points to consider:
- My device is not manufactured anymore and doesn´t have a replacement
- It is crucial for my workflow or essential for my sound
- The quality of the device (e.g. build quality or processing quality)
- The device is a rarity
- You don’t want to familiarize with a new device
- A really important fact is good memories and sentimentality

Are the devices insured on the way of dispatch?

Yes, all consignments and pick-ups we arrange are insured. Please make sure to pack the device carefully and according to the specifications of the forwarder.
Which payment options does PMS electronics GmbH offer?

For deliveries inside Germany we offer payment via bank transfer, paypal and COD (cash on delivery, "Nachnahme").
For shipments to foreign countries we accept payment via bank transfer and paypal.
Is there a guarantee that I get back my device at a certain time?

Unfortunately we can’t give you a guarantee because we depend on our suppliers and forwarders. But we will do our best to meet your wishes.
How long does a repair take?

As long as all necessary spare parts and documents are available you can be sure to receive back the repaired device or the estimate of cost within no more than 10 working days.
How much is the hourly rate from PMS electronics GmbH?

It’s not that important how much our hourly rate is, but rather how quickly we are able to repair and how much the total cost will be. With our experience, our specialized workstations and with quick access to manufacturer-specific documents we are able to reduce repair times remarkably. In fact about 70% of our repairs are cheaper than 119.00€ (incl. tax).
